Schedule to expect when you're a Vikings Cheerleader: Practices: September- December -2 or 3 nights a week from 6pm to 8pm - (this will vary depending on location & Coaches schedule)
Cheering at Games: September through December - Games are every Saturday and you will cheer for the team your are placed with. You will be expected to arrive an hour early to every game and the games last approximately 2 hours. Please note that we do travel to away games in other cities.
Other events:
Homecoming-Oct 8th, cheerleaders are expected to perform End of Season Banquet- Dec 4th, Burbank Marriott

All cheerleaders must have a physical form on file in order to practice Shoes: Appropriate athletic shoes that lace are required. Cheerleaders not wearing appropriate shoes will be asked to sit out. The shoes ordered for the season are NOT for practice purposes Hair: All hair must be worn in a ponytail, out of the face. Cheerleaders without their hair up will be asked to sit out. Clothing: Denim or denim like fabrics are not allowed. This is a physical activity where the girls will run, do push ups, sit-ups, etc. Come ready to work out wearing green, black, gray, white or gold. PLEASE BRING ANY REMAINING PAPERWORK AND/OR MONEY.
All parents are required to volunteer a minimum of 6 hrs per enrolled child!
Traveling Competition Team Section
HUGE Congrats goes out to the 2008-2009 Traveling Competition Team who took home 2nd place at Jamz Youth Nationals in Las Vegas on February 9th.You all represented the Vikings organization with pride! One of our stunt groups also competed as a stand alone 5 person stunt group until and walked away with a rewarding 4th place trophy.Congratulations to Sammy, Sam, Cameron, Vanessa and Sarah! It took a lot of courage to go out there in front of an arena full of spectators and you did great! The 2008-2009 Traveling Competition Team was made up of the following cheerleaders: Kacey Hunter, Sara Spencer, Kalie Jensen, Bryanna Reid, Jayme Lotka, Sammy Harmon, Cameron Weist, Vanessa Rosas, Sarah Noll, Samantha Hankins, Arlene Roman, Samara Simmons, Katie Klosno, Carrie Cuddihy and Tami Engel.

*Traveling Competition Team is formed depending on age, ability and contribution by position on the team.Placement on the team is at the discretion of the Head Coach. Competition season is in addition to regular season cheer and requires extra time, practice and financial obligation. Competition season runs from September thru February and requires several weekend commitments including traveling to competitions, weekend practices and fundraising. Additional contract is required.
*Arrive 45 mins - 1 hour before your team's kick off time (check with Coach or Cheer AD for arrival time) *Arrive with your hair up and uniform on. Uniform = briefs, bow, no-show white socks, shell, skirt, bodyliner, shoes
*ALWAYS carry your bodyliner in your bag! If you are the only one that does not have it, you will cause the whole team not to be able to wear it either.
In the event that your Coach is unable to attend, the Cheer AD will run game time cheers
